Shelley - Frances Mitchell

New Ross - Mrs. Frances Faye Shelly, 70 widow of Carl Shelley died at her home here Tuesday. Mrs. Shelley was a member of New Ross United Methodist Church and New Ross Extension Club. She was born Sept 1, 1909 at Wingate, a daughter of Raymond and Lula Rogers Mitchell. Surviving are a daughter, Lois Kenny of rural Attica; a son, Carlton of Crawfordsville; six brothers, Claire, John and Charles Mitchell, all of Wingate; Paul Mitchell of Alamo and William and Max Mitchell, both of Waynetown; a sister, Clara Miller of Alamo; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her husband died in 1970. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Porter Funeral Home at Jamestown. Burial will be in New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
